Authorities released more dramatic pictures of a man they describe as a serial robber who has struck 25 times in Craven and Carteret counties over the past month.
The Carteret County Sheriff's Department says the suspect seen robbing a store in new surveillance video just released fits the description of the same person who shot a Craven County convenience store clerk Tuesday night.
Officials say the rash of robberies, break-ins and now shootings, began on the August 21.
