UNC-Chapel Hill Chancellor Retiring

The chancellor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill says he will retire next year.

Chancellor James Moeser said at a news conference Wednesday that he will leave the university June 30.

The 68-year-old Moeser was named chancellor in 2000 and has led the university's fund-raising effort of more than $2 billion and created a financial aid program for low-income students.
