Best Doctors List
Dozens of physicians from Eastern Carolina are included on an annual "Best Doctors" list. Only 5% of doctors who practice in North Carolina achieve the honor each year. Click full story for a list.

Dozens of physicians from Eastern Carolina have been chosen by their peers for inclusion in the 2009-2010 "Best Doctors" list.
Most of the local doctors on the list are from the Brody Medical School at East Carolina University.
A Boston-based group called Best Doctors Inc. compiles the list each year.
More than 30,000 doctors across America who made the listing previously are asked which doctors they would want treating themselves or their loved ones. Only 5% of doctors who practice in North Carolina make the list.
Forty of the doctors on the list are from ECU's Brody School of Medicine. Four of the doctors on the list are from Washington.

Dr. JM Williams is an outstanding doctor. He is one of the best EVER. Dr. Rodriguez, Dr. Kypson, Dr. Koutlas, Dr. Moran, Dr. Anderson, Dr. Ferguson, along with Dr. Chitwood are wonderful and they all should have been at the top of the list. Words cannot express their level of care and dedication to their patients. We have seen them in action for many years and can say that we are proud to work with such wonderful surgeons!
