Authorities have cancelled a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Halifax County woman.

Authorities have cancelled a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Halifax County woman.
Debra Settles was located Tuesday at a relative's residence and she is ok.

A missing woman has prompted the state to issue a silver alert.
Lawmen are asking for your help in finding 53 year-old Debra Jean Settles. They don't have a picture of her. Settles was last seen on Ferguson Street in Littleton in Halifax County. Authorities think she may suffer from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Officials say she is a black woman, stands 5'4" tall and weighs179 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Settles was last seen wearing a blue hoodie, green shirt, blue jeans, and white/blue shoes.

This has been happening a lot lately. Who is watching them? No one I guess. When you get to the point where they wonder and you can not find them, it is time to find a sitter, adult daycare or facility. This must be very scary for the person lost when they can not find their way back home. Its also very dangerous to them. I pray they find her safe.

Um, why are you announcing this without a picture? Are we supposed to go up to every senior and ask them if they are the ones missing? They probably would not know it even if we did! Picture please.
