Sheriff's Office plans to hold a future event in the fall.

Here is how the information was given to WITN:

Operation Medicine Cabinet resulted in the drop-off of over 30,000 dosage units of medicine. This successful event ensured these medications will not end up in the wrong hands and provides for their proper disposal.

More details will follow at a later date pertaining to the type (controlled/over the counter) of medicine disposed of. A future event will be planned for this fall.
