A new study finds sweet smells can bring you sweet dreams!
German researchers exposed a group of people to either a rotten egg or a rose smell while they slept. When they woke up, they asked each person to describe their dreams. Those who experienced the unpleasant odor were more likely to have negative dreams, while those who smelled roses had almost all positive dreams.
Although this is the first study to look at sleep and smells, researchers say their findings may open up the possibility of using odors in a therapeutic setting.
