There is good news for tomatoes, the Federal Government says it's safe to eat them again.

The Food and Drug Administration has lifted its salmonella warning on tomatoes. The FDA believes the outbreak may be winding down and it's unlikely tomatoes from early in the outbreak are still in production.

Officials still don't know what caused the illnesses in more than 1,200 people.
