If you have any jalapenos or avocados at home, they may not be safe to eat.

There's a recall today of jalapeno peppers and avocados distributed in North Carolina. The problem is salmonella. Right now, state officials don't know which restaurants and grocery stores received the tainted jalapenos and avocados. Until they do, you may wish to consider what you have at home as part of the recall.

Officials say the products came from Texas, so any jalapenos or avocados you bought from a farmers market should be safe.

There's no immediate sign that this recall is apart of the salmonella strain that made 12-hundred people sick nationwide according to officials, but they're looking into it.

This is the work of terrorists! What better way to knock off a few Americans than taint our fruits and vegetables.

David - wow, what a conspiracy theory you are cooking up there! Salmonella usually does not kill anyone. In fact, I don't believe the recent string of salmonella has killed anyone.

Here we go again!! I have the gutt feeling that there is more to these recalls than just a simple mistake or mixup. There is way to many of these recalls for this epidemic to be just a mixup. I have a feeling that the government is behind this. Somehow, someway. I was once told that the government goes through various technics in order to cut down on population. I am now thinking that this salmonella poisoning that has been over taking the world during the past few years is more of a plot than it is anything else. Could we actually be targets of our government? I would pay close attention to the details before dismissing my gutt feelings.

Texas---or could it be Mexico? Between that and the growing narco state JUST south of our border, is there any better reason to patrol our borders?

So tomatoes were safe all along? Are they really sure that these things are the problem this time? Is any of our food really safe? Does make you wonder.
