A company called "Best Doctors" polls physicians. Those physicians are asked which doctors they would choose for themselves or a family member. According to Best Doctors, the list for North Carolina includes less than 5 percent of our state's 29,000 licensed physicians.

Here are the physicians from Eastern North Carolina who made the 2008 Best Doctors List:

I guess that they are being biased toward Greenville, of course then again Martin County is one of the most discriminated against counties in Eastern North Carolina. Don't forget Dr. Carl Thomas Dover, Dr. Robert Auton, Dr. Jeff Caldwell, and Dr. Steven Lester. They don't act like they are above others like some doctors do. Martin County thinks a lot of you guys very well and would like for you all to stay around.
