With the high cost of electricity, we're seeing more homes outfitted with renewable energy sources. And one county in the east is now one of the first with two businesses now capable of producing electricity.
Two practices in Greenville are now the first to install solar panels at their offices.
The Kidney Center and Doctor's "Q"'s Dentist Office will soon convert solar energy to electricity.
With tax incentives of up to 65 percent in the next five years, it's a win-win situation for customers and it's a plus for Greenville Utilities.
One of the doctors we talked to say they hope to run their entire office on the power they generate with the solar energy.
