Greenlight Expands In Wilson & Battles Proposed Legislation From Rival Companies
What if we told you we knew a company that might be able to give you better cable, internet, and phone services for less than you're paying right now? It might sound like a commercial but that's exactly what one business run by the city of Wilson says it can do. Is Brad Phillips of the "North Carolina Telecommunications Association" the same Brad Phillips who is the vice president for government and public affairs for Time Warner?

Jammin is right on! Embarq is the BIGGEST monopoly and scammer of the century in my opinion! Of course Vrad Phillips would be concerned about Time Warner and Embarq not getting a fair shake! Heck, he probably get's paid more in a MONTH than most people make all year just to have that "special" worry! I would be a little concerned as well as a company when another company can offer better service for less money! ooppsss, I guess companies don't like being known as the bottom feeders. I wish I lived in the Greenlight area, I am so sick of only having 1 or 2 companies to choose from and even then both of them SUCK! Have your cable or internet give out and call them for service if you do not believe me!

In most citizen's minds Embarq, Time Warner, Greenville Utilites are technically illegal monopolies. The only one's who say they are legal monolopolies are our one sided city, town, state governments, whose pockets are lined by those companies in order to create laws to fight against competition. Competition is good for capitalism, which is what we use in our economy. Cable, telephone, and utility companies all are monopolies. The government usually says satellite service is the competition for cable companies....both use different technology. We should be creating laws to allow for cable, telephone, and untility companies to have competition.
