Actor Kal Penn To Speak For Obama In NC Save Email Print

The actor who starred in the "Harold and Kumar" movies is continuing his work for Barack Obama by appearing for the Democratic presidential candidate several times this weekend in North Carolina.

Kal Penn will appear Saturday at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem and Sunday at Elon University in Elon.

Penn is participating in events that the Obama campaign has dubbed "Weekend of Action" to focus on registering new voters and recruiting new supporters for the Illinois senator.

Penn also appears on the series "House," on Fox television. He was the floor manager for the Virginia delegation at the Democratic National Convention in Denver.

I just wanted to mention that Kal Penn will also be in the Pit at UNC-Chapel Hill today starting at 1:30 p.m. for those who care.
