We Know. Technically it's called The Time Warner Cable Music Pavillion at Walnut Creek but that would make it an extremely long headline.

This summer's concert line-up has something for every music fan. For ticket information and availability, go to www.livenation.com.

A rejuvenated REM plays Walnut Creek with Modest Mouse on June 10th.

The Dixie Chicks will stay away from Walnut Creek on June 21st as Toby Keith, Montgomery Gentry and three more take the stage.

The Dave Matthews band takes the stage on July 2nd and a pair of classic rockers are in the house ten days later as Tom Petty and Steve Winwood will entertain a large crowd at the venue formerly known as the Walnut Creek Ampitheatre.

Brad Paisley and Jewel are next in-line, with a Raleigh visit on July 19th. Chuck Wicks and Julianne Hough are scheduled to open.

There's a very interesting pairing on July 23rd as alt-rockers 311 are touring with the Dogg. That's Snoop Dogg to you!

A couple days later the Projekt Revolution (Spell check hates that "k" but that's the name of the tour) Tour rolls into the Time Warner Cable Music Pavillion at Walnut Creek. Linkin Park, Chris Cornell, Busta Rhymes, The Bravery and Ashes Divide are all scheduled to appear.

Maroon 5, Counting Crows and Sara Bareilles share the stage on July 29th.

Other acts scheduled include Avril Lavigne, Rascal Flatts, a Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick show, Jack Johnson and the American Idols Live Tour.

The ampitheatre is just over an hour from Greenville and it's a great way to spend a hot summer night.
