ECU grad student Jenna Seagraves will be laid to rest at the McEwen Funeral Home in Charlotte at 2pm on Sunday.

Seagraves died in a car accident in Greenville on Thursday.

The 23 year-old was from Harrisburg which is right outside of Charlotte.

Police say the Seagraves was driving south on the highway when she struck a tractor trailer.

Police say the truck was stopped at a traffic light. The driver of the truck was not hurt.

Seagraves was a graduate student at ECU's College of Education. She was due to start teaching at Roanoke High School in January.

David and Kim Seagraves said in a statement, "she now walks those streets of gold in Heaven."

To Anonymous re: "let's move on".....most of us are still grieving the loss of Jenna. I truly hope karma doesn't come back to and show you how long it takes to truly grieve a young, tragic loss as this. You move on to another blog post yet? Good. We are still shocked by this sudden and tragic loss. You were ready to move on two days later.....hmmmm. You must have a heart made of ice.
