East Carolina football and men's basketball broadcasts will be moving to a new radio flagship beginning next fall as WNCT-FM becomes the Pirates' new primary home for the next three years according to an announcement made Thursday by ECU Director of Athletics Terry Holland, ISP Sports Vice-President Meghan Molnar and Brad Hood of the Beasley Broadcast Group.
WNCT-FM's powerful 100,000-watt signal will provide expanded coverage for ECU sports, extending to Raleigh (to the west), southern Virginia (to the north) and up and down the North Carolina coastline.
All ECU football and men's basketball games, along with weekly coaches' call-in shows, will be included in the programming on WNCT-FM.
ECU football action was carried this past fall on Beasley-owned WSFL-FM (106.5), while basketball is being aired on WNCT-AM , a strong 50,000-watt station which will continue to provide coverage of the Pirates' complete 56-game regular season baseball slate and any post-season competition.

Deadfish: I asked earlier on another posted topic, the DWI for the Cherry Point base commander, if you were usmc101 from Yuma. Is that you or not ?? Never saw an answer to my question. That would seem reasonable as Yuma would put you close to your beloved USC boys. If not you, that Sgt sure must have attended the same writing school that you did !!
Give it up Deadfish...no one is interested in what you have to say. Using the wrong form of "effect" and "affect" is an honest mistake, one that spell check will not pick up. Get off your high horse egomaniac. Last I checked your beloved Troy is in trouble and has more discipline problems than UNC, ECC or any other college in the nation at present. Drop it!
I made a grammatical mistake on my last sentence. The last part of that sentence should read: "or else you will have a vicious infectious cycle." Thank you
