Kennedy was released on a $5,000 bond.

The man appears to be white, in his 20's or 30's and weighs around 200 pounds. All of the break-ins happened during the morning of January 25th. In one of the cases, the man locked himself out of the green Jeep Grand Cherokee. Surveillance video shows after checking all four wheel wells for a hide-a-key, the man got back in by climbing through the sunroof. Police say because of that the vehicle may not belong to the thief.

If anyone knows the identity of the man in the pictures you should call Washington police at 252-948-9437 or Chocowinity police at 252-946-2882.

I do have a job, but would never want to be a policewoman. Little pay and some of you are just plain crooked.

To LEO: I would like to thank you and the rest of the LE community for your sacrifices. Keep up the great work and don't let some unappreciative individuals get to you. They are just jealous that they didn't persue their dreams and don't have any job satisfaction at the end of the day. Keep your head up, there are alot of thankful people counting on you and the rest of the force.

It never seems to amaze me that no matter what law enforcement does it's never enough. If it was ignored and not solved then it would have been seen as law enforcement not doing their job. Now that it's solved the officers that caught this guy with the help of the community are being put down saying that they should be working on bigger cases. As an officer I can tell you people like this are typically involved in bigger crimes or if not stopped then they tend to progress to much bigger crimes. It seems that the officers are danged if they do and danged if they don't. For the ones talking bad about the officers either keep quiet or give up your nice safe job (if you have one), go to BLET and get certified, work long hours for little pay and sometime put your life on the line for someone else because it's the right thing to do. Don't sit back at home on the computer and pretend to know anything about protecting the innocent. Good job in locating this low life.
