A Halifax County woman is facing charges for cutting a friend with a broken glass bottle.
Halifax County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 44-year-old Pattie Marie Evans of Scotland Neck, for using a broken glass bottle to cut a close friend. According to authorities the assault came after an argument between the victim and Evans.
Evans was charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury and was placed under a $5,000 bond. Her court date is set for February 17, 2010.
