A woman is in jail after deputies say she stole someone's debit card and then went on a shopping spree. And deputies say it's not the first time she was arrested for it.

Geraldine Gray of Roanoke Rapids was arrested Thursday on six counts of identity theft, six counts of obtaining property under false pretenses and one count of financial card theft.

Deputies say the 31-year-old woman was also served with a court order for missing a Wednesday court date on similar charges.

She's now in jail on a $3,000 bond and has a Tuesday court date.

She has a recent history of failing to appear so why would they make her bond so low?
