Man Jailed For Driving Stolen Vehicle
A Halifax County man is in jail Wednesday after being arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.

A Halifax County man is in jail Wednesday after being arrested for driving a stolen vehicle.
Thrity-two year-old William Eugene Edwards, of Roanoke Rapids, was arrested Tuesday for felony possession of stolen goods and driving while license suspended. Halifax Sheriff’s Deputies stopped Edwards for a moving violation and learned that the vehicle he was driving was reported stolen and his license was suspended. Edwards is in the Halifax County Jail under a $1,000 bond. His court date is set for January 11th, 2010.
