This is what I love about people nowadays! Let's see here...Jeff commented, "Shooting someone definitely does mean you are a bad person." So, he just called every one of our troops bad people! Right? Now let's move down to Chris's comment: "If they did, I hope they put them in the chair!" So let's put the rest of our troops in the electric chair for shooting, killing, and raping families? That's what you're saying, right? Yes, I DO have many family members in the Armed Forces, but it still isn't right! I will be going into the Army myself, but if I kill someone, it's okay? No, it's not! I've heard things like "hung," "put underground," and other things, but who are WE to say anything? Read your Bible a little more, people, before you go running off at the mouth! Only one person can dispense justice so I think it's best if we just leave it in the hands of God - and to a lesser extent - the judge.
Wilma we finally agree on something. In your comment on Nov 16, you made a comment that your child would not be out @2:00 in the morning. You then stated that all you can do is be the best parent you can be. All I was saying in the beginning is people were quick to blame the parents his mother tried to be the best parent she could be. Yes he was wrong, noone said he wasn't but let's get all the facts before we point fingers. All I ask is that all of us stop and pray for all these young people who are out here killing and shooting. It's got to end somewhere and we must help.

When posting online, I usually use "@" because it is what is generally used on facebook, twitter, SA, and most other places that I visit when talking to someone specific." Okay, I understand that. The young man who 'instigated' this thing/pulled the trigger deserves to be punished according to the law. Even if the other young man has no record, he made a choice, and was present during the crime. If it is found that he honestly had no idea what his 'companion' planned to do, there may be hope for him, and I hope he makes a better decision next time. Choose your companions wisely.
