Rocky Mount Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect with three or four tear drops tattooed on the right side of his face.

Police say Shoe Show was held up at gunpoint around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. The store is located at 1820 Sunset Ave. in Rocky Mount.

Two women working at the store say the man pointed a small silver handgun at them and demanded money, investigators say. After getting cash from the cash register, the clerks were forced to lie down on the floor while the gunman fled the scene.

You're asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 977-1111 if you have information on the armed robbery. A cash reward is possible for people who give information that leads to an arrest.

I agree with Audra. Rocky Mount and the surrounding areas are just getting worse and worse. This entire area needs police officers who are not afraid to go out and fight crime. There are areas where the gangs are and the police do their best to stay away from where they hang out. The crime rate will just go up so long as our economy is where it is and they are letting inmates out early because of overcrowding.

:-) Eunice, I didn't sneeze, but thanks. If you're looking for genuine hatred, expand your reading to other posters here because I'm small fry by comparison. It's entertaining however that you call me out for hatred when I simply posted my rightful opinion about social issues, immediately followed by saying I have a "sorry existence". It sounds more like you're the one that doesn't like me (I like me just fine), Dr. Phil. Stop yelling dear. You'll strain your lovely voice. Re the actual story here, sometimes those teardrops are for someone who was lost - not just someone the individual killed, so it's hard to say.

I agree with Audra, 100%. Eunice must be related to the thugs.
