A man is accused of killing his dog Monday afternoon, a dog that weighed just a two pounds.

Raymond Wallace of Walstonburg was arrested Monday by Greene County deputies. The dog was a Chihuahua.

The 20-year-old is charged with felony cruelty to animals. Animal control officers say around 12:15 p.m. Monday Wallace threw his dog against a wall and then beat it.

He was placed in the county jail on a $5,000 bond. Wallace's court date is November 20th.

He's involved with someone I care about and I know he is a convicted felon for beating a man mercilessly who has been left in a helpless state. Why is he getting away with these offenses? Past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. He is putting bruises on his new girlfriend and she has a baby.
