DEPUTIES: Woman & Friend Steal From Grandpa
Carteret County deputies say it happened when Laura Horne was house sitting for her grandparents this weekend.

A woman and a friend are both in jail after deputies say the two stole from the woman's grandparents while she was house sitting for them.
Laura Horne and Alexander Talbot, both of Newport, were arrested Sunday night on larceny charges.
Carteret County deputies say the two left, taking with them grandpa's .40 caliber handgun and a flat screen television.
Both items have since been recovered. Talbot, who initially bonded out of jail, was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of stolen property. Deputies say they found him in possession with the handgun after his initial release from jail.

Look at him now...locked up yet again and many many more charges! This guy is a complete scum bag and I cant wait to find out whats coming his way. I dont know this Laura girl but Im sure he controlled her like he controls everyone. I feel bad for her..... end of my soap box

Kinda sad that this story doesn't mention the other girls involved or what actually happened at all. Just goes to show how the media lies about things. The truth will come out in court and everything will be fine.
