A man who police say was involved in a gunfight with them last summer has pleaded guilty to a federal charge.
The feds say Jerome Wright shot a Goldsboro police officer twice during a traffic stop on June 8th, 2008. The officer returned fire and shot Wright in the behind.
Police say Wright then threw the gun and a bag of marijuana under his vehicle. He pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The 26-year-old Wright faces up to 10 years in prison on the federal gun charge and will be sentenced in January. If he is found to be a career criminal, Wright could get life in prison.
He still is facing state charges of attempted first degree murder, assault on a law enforcement officer and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. He has a November 9th court date in Wayne County on those charges.

Who is that? Medusa
Can't you tell he has remorse(because he was caught), and worms on his head.
I hope they give him the 10 years vs the life sentence. If they give him life he would be out in no time like the rest, with 10 years maybe he will do what? 10 months?
