Police Chief's Daughter Charged With Carrying Weapon To School
The Morehead City Police Department arrested 37-year-old Rashonda Hargett of Newport and charged her with bringing a weapon to Carteret Community College.

Authorities arrested a woman on Wednesday for bringing a shotgun to campus.
The Morehead City Police Department arrested 37-year-old Rashonda Hargett of Newport and charged her with bringing a weapon to Carteret Community College.
She was charged with unlawful possession of a .20 gauge shotgun on educational property.
The charge carries a misdemeanor penalty.
WITN has confirmed that Hargett is the daughter of Emerald Isle police chief William Hargett.
She was also arrested recently on charges of both real and personal property.

For anyone that knows this person, her court date for her assault charges are today and her court date for her weapon charge is on Thursday, the 3d of December. I wonder if her daddy, or her name will get her off with just a slap on the hand, if that... She has been charged with many assault charges, but never convicted of them. Funny how that happens. I am very curious to see what the outcome is on this issue.

I too am fed up with this womans behavior. She is always getting away with the outrageous things that she has done. She needs to pay the price for her conpulsive lieing and exploding behavior. The sheriffs know her very well and they too know that she is off her rocker. Justice needs to be served!

I am fed up with special people getting special treatment. I have known Rashona for 5 years and the things I saw her do are alarming. She is a time bomb ready to explode. What is it going to take for someone to give her what she deserves.
