Police say they've arrested a woman who is accused of a fraud scheme that totals in the hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Greenville police, assisted by Windsor police, arrested Regina Peele of Windsor for obtaining property by false pretense and felony worthless checks.
Peele, according to police, owns CreditEd Solutions, Incorporated. She's arrested on obtaining property by false pretense in excess of $100,000.00, 4 counts, for a fraud scheme involving $600,000.00; and felony worthless check, 3 counts, referring to funds totaling $240,000.00.
Police say the scheme solicited investors for church construction, with promises of high rates of return. They claim Peele then used the money for other uses and failed to fully repay the investors.
Police say in many cases, money from one source was used to make partial payments to other investors.
People who have invested with CreditEd Solutions are asked to contact Greenville police at 252-329-4359.
The 45-year-old Peele is in jail under a $50,000 secured bond.

I have known this lady since high school, her sister and I was very good friends. This lady was a nice person then, and I believe she is still a kind hearted person. Sometimes when you try to do something nice for someone, it don't always turn out the way you wanted it to, and you keep trying to find a way. I believe she really did want to help, but things went wrong. I don't believe she meant to hurt or do anybody wrong or harm. I pray that other people will come to know that she is not the person they say she is. People need to learn how to pray for people and not judge them, because things happen so quick every day, next month it could be you, and you did'nt mean any harm.

i have known this person for many years and let me say that she is a person that pretends to be this sweet and gentle person but in reality she has been a poster child for evil and selfish doing. this does not supprise me because of her greed for money and power and control. yes she has done these things and when is all comes out you will find out that it is much much more.

I met this woman a few nights ago at a church service. And God said that she was innocent. Now go tell that!!!
