Robersonville Murder Suspect Charged In Greenville Shooting
Greenville police say warrants have been obtained against Donate Brown for the July 31st shooting on Roosevelt Avenue.

A man already under arrest for a murder in Martin County has now been charged in a shooting that happened in Greenville earlier that same day.
Greenville police say warrants have been obtained against Dontae Brown for the July 31st shooting on Roosevelt Avenue.
Police say Darnell Carr and Marion Andrews were in a vehicle on the street around 2:45 a.m. when they were approached by two people from a vehicle that was stopped in front of them. One of the people showed a handgun and fired into the vehicle. Carr was hit in the face.
The 24-year-old Brown is charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapons and one count of attempted murder.
Police say they have no motive for the Greenville shooting.
Brown was arrested Sunday for the murder of Brent Sherod that happened on North Everett Street Friday.
