$50,433.73 cents. That's how much the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office says a woman stole from a local business.
Deputies say, 45 year old Lisa Boyd of V.O.A. Road in Washington stole the money after forging checks. Authorities say Maxwell Industries reported Boyd, who was an employee, wrote and forged checks through the company bank accounts and then kept the money.
She's charged with embezzlement and obtaining property by false pretenses.
Boyd turned herself into law enforcement June 19th. She was put in the Beaufort County Detention Center on $25,000.00 secured bond.

to blank.... Don't read it if it bothers you so much. Why are you here anyway. Stop your flip flopping! Get off the Internet and go pray some more if you don't want to read the comments. That woman should have bought her a wig with some of that money she had stolen. I give her a 1.5 out of 10 on the mugshot.

I just want to say that I wish WITN didn't have this section where you could type whatever you wanted to about someone else. Do you think God is going to have a section where he notes all the wrong you have done. Why don't everyone just mind their own business and keep your mouths shut!! How would you feel if all of your secrets came out and people put you down and talked bad things about you, or acted as if they 'knew everything about her life'. We all have a hard life to some degree. We all have certain battles we are fighting and deamons that we are trying to push away everyday. It is hard to have compassion sometimes, especially when things are given to you and you just take advantage, but God never turned his back on us so we must not turn our backs on another. And to ENC....I wish I knew who you were because you disguss me. You need to be slapped for what you said. You must have no heart!

Stop feeling sorry for Lisa.....she chose this path. Many of the family members have provided her with options and assistance in helping her with life in general. She has always made poor decisions and will continue because of the life she has made for herself. Yes, its hard losing a loved one and we all have to deal with death at one point in life but that does not provide reasoning behind the decisions she has made. She may have lost a son and a husband as well as her parents and a sister in law but she still has a daughter and a grandson who love her. As far as danny's parents, they have showed her support throughout everything especially through the deaths of Matthew and Danny. She wasn't alone though she may have made many think that she had nowhere else to turn. Lisa has exhausted her options so this should be her rude awakening.
