Police near Boston say a man wearing a suit and driving a BMW tried to rob a bank at gunpoint but was arrested after an employee texted for help.

Police say the man walked into a Citizens Bank branch in Dedham, Mass., as it opened Tuesday morning and pulled a gun.

A bank employee was able to send a text message to the manager of a branch in a nearby town. The manager alerted police. Officers working a road detail just 100 yards away responded within seconds and arrested the suspect.

The suspect's name was not immediately released by police. The BMW is not registered to him and investigators are trying to determine if it's his.
