Two former Domino's Pizza workers shown tampering with food in videos on YouTube are to be in a North Carolina court on charges of distributing prohibited foods.
The Observer News Enterprise of Newton reports that 31-year-old Kristy Lynn Hammonds of Taylorsville and 32-year-old Michael Anthony Setzer of Conover were scheduled for their first court appearance Friday.
One video shows Setzer sticking cheese in his nose before putting it on a sandwich.
Hammonds and Setzer are charged with one felony count of distributing prohibited foods. Conover Police Chief Gary Lafone says it's the same charge used when someone tampers with Halloween candy.
A Domino's spokesman says there is no indication the food was served to customers. The restaurant closed for an inspection Tuesday and reopened Wednesday.

Police in Conover say 31-year-old Kristy Lynn Hammonds of Taylorsville and 32-year-old Michael Anthony Setzer of Conover are each charged with distributing prohibited foods.
Domino's spokesman Tim McIntyre says the workers were fired and there is no evidence any of the tampered foods were served to customers. The Observer-News-Enterprise of Newton reported the store was closed to decontaminate it.
A deputy at the Catawba County jail says Setzer was released on bail but Hammonds was still being held Wednesday.
A man identifying himself on the phone as Setzer's father says the family is not commenting.

The video shows the cheese put in one employee's nose ending up on a sandwich. It also shows him pretending to "blow a booger" on those sandwich, according to the other employee videotaping him. The two joke about "Booger Bread" and say if they ever opened their own restaurant, it would be shut down within 24 hours.
The girl taping says the other employee "just farted on salami that goes on these sandwiches."
The video gets worse, when the employee making the sandwiches pulls his pants down, wipes himself with a sponge and then washes dishes.
The female employee says it was a prank, that if it was real she would have never put it on youtube.com and says they never served the food they messed with. But on the tape, she talks about the unlucky customers going to get the food.
Domino's issued a statement. It reads: "We are appalled by the actions of these individuals and they do not represent the 125,000 hard-working men and women of Domino's Pizza across the country and in 60 countries around the world." The company also said it is "pursuing criminal and legal actions against them."
Below is the e-mail allegedly sent to Domino's Pizza by the female employee who taped her co-worker.
"I am sorry about all of this! It was all a prank and me nor Michael expected to have this much attention from the videos that were uploaded! No food was ever sent out to any customer. We would never put something like that on you tube if it were real!! It was fake and I wish that everyone knew that!!!! Michael never would do that to any customer, EVER!! I AM SOO SORRY! You see all the time of the pranks that people upload and the pranks need to seem real in order to get a laugh out of people but this prank was very very immature and I am sorry for the embarrassment that I have caused your company!"

Wow, Yes yes yes....Great job of the youth to tell the real story of cooperate greed in this nation. I see the new commercials that are being placed on television. How they are placing the names of who makes your Pizza. If I was an employee, I would not agree to anyone using my name without compensation for advertising.Funny how we think of our food as a place of perfection. I have read the comments of everyone. Such a hoot. I just love the evil that bubbles up in people if you mess with their food. Try and take back a bone that you gave to your dog.
I say they are guilty as charged because what they did is sick, very immature, and stupid. Plus, they could have really put customers at risk and they think its all a joke, so I say lock them up until they learned their lesson.
Put them in jail for a weekend and feed them nothing but buggers and water.
