WITN HD and WITN2 (MyTV) are being moved to a new broadcast station channel line-up on Time Warner Cable systems.
The channel move will take place on Thursday, March 13th and effect TWC customers in Farmville, Goldsboro, Wilson, Elizabeth City, Ahoskie and Murfreesboro.
WITN HD will move to cable channel 1203 in Farmville while it will be shifted to channel 1204 in Goldsboro, Wilson, Elizabeth City, Ahoskie and Murfreesboro. WITN2 (MyTV) will move to channel 1215 in Farmville. The channel is not available to cable customers in TWC communities outside the Greenville-New Bern-Washington television market.
Time Warner Cable customers that are used to seeing WITN on cable channel 7 will still find the station on that channel position, but the channel carries a down-converted Standard Definition feed of the signal.
WITN HD and WITN2 (MyTV) will continue to be available on cable channels 120 and 121 for TWC customers in Newport, Morehead City, Jacksonville and Pender county for another two weeks, with the communities scheduled for a channel shift the last week of March.
TWC subscribers may need to reset their favorite channel selections and reprogram DVR's to record their favorite shows with this change. Compete details are available from Time Warner Cable customer service or on their website at:
