Donald Taylor, 49, of Leigh St. in Pikeville was arrested Friday. The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says the victim told detectives the sexual abuse started when she was six years old and continued until she was 12, at Taylor's home. It's not clear how old the victim is now.
Taylor is charged with four counts each of first degree sex offense with a child and indecent liberties with a child. His bond was set at $4.1 million. Taylor was scheduled for a first court appearance Monday.
Detectives noted that Taylor has been cooperative with the investigation.
