Two Greenville Men Sentenced For Bojangles' Robberies

Two men accused in a rash of armed robberies at Bojangles' Restaurants in Eastern Carolina last summer will spend years in federal prison.

Demetrius Telfair was sentenced to 16 years in prison, while Courtney Gooding will spend 15 years behind bars after guilty pleas in federal court.

The two Greenville men admitted to robbing the Bojangles' on East 10th Street in Greenville on June 6th, and the Bojangles' on Parkwood Boulevard in Wilson twelve days later. In the first robbery, the two made off with nearly $4,000 in cash.

Both men will have to repay the missing money, and will be on five years probation after their release from prison.
