Highway Patrol continues to investigate a fatal crash after a car plowed into a house in Carteret County Tuesday.
Investigators say it happened Tuesday afternoon at 950 Old Church Road in Stella in Carteret County.
Troopers say 52-year-old Lisa Wilson of Goldsboro was killed. They say she was traveling south at a high rate of speed when her car ran off the road, flipped several times, and hit a brick house.
No one else was injured.
