Store Owner Dies Two Years After Robbery; Murder Indictments Handed Up

Three men have been indicted for the murder of a Goldsboro store owner, after the man died two years after being wounded in a robbery.

Rashard Oliver, Quentin Kenon, and Joshua Davis were served today with the indictments for the murder of Frank Kandeel.

Police say Kandeel was paralyzed after the August 2008 shooting at Brookside Mart on South Slocumb Street. In September Kandeel died in New York from complications of his gunshot wound and a Wayne County grand jury indicted the three men on the upgraded charges.

Oliver, Kenon and Davis are in the Wayne County jail awaiting arraignment.

Several years ago I met a woman who was shot and paralyzed in a Rip Mart robbery. The lady told me that the robber promised he would not hurt her if she did every thing that he told her to do, so she did. She gave him all of the money, layed down on the floor face down, and before he left, he shot her in the back, paralyzing her from the neck down. She said everything was over, she knew that she was going to be OK..but he shot her anyway...So I hope that these thugs get the death penalty..or a bullet..which ever comes first.

Glad they have charged them with murder! What were their original charges?? Wonder what those 3 thugs have been up to while Mr. Kandeel and his family suffered over the past 2 years...prayers for Mr. Kandeel and family.
