The Wilson Police Department cancelled its Silver Alert for a missing woman early Monday.
The search for Carolyn Ellis Jones was cancelled just before 2 a.m.
The NC Center for Missing Persons says that 57-year-old Carolyn Jones was last seen at her home at 1910 Farrior Ave. in Wilson around 9 a.m. when she was leaving to go to Parker's Barbecue on U.S. Hwy 301 South.
Jones is described as diabetic and suffers from dementia. She was last seen driving a 2000 Honda Passport with NC license plate BCF-6105. Jones is described as an African American female with short hair and is 5’5”.
