A Lenoir County school employee who was arrested last week for video taping men showering at Five County Stadium has been suspended from his job.
LaDarryl Strong of Ayden is charged with felony secret peeping, first degree trespassing and possession of marijuana. Strong, according to the school system web site, is a technology assistant at Sampson School in Kinston.
The Ayden man was placed on paid suspension, pending a review, according to a school district spokeswoman. Strong was hired in August 2009 and worked with computers.
Police say on Tuesday team staff members confronted Strong who was posing as a cleaning employee. They say he ran from the locker room and police stopped his vehicle in the stadium parking lot. Police say they found 15 grams of marijuana and paraphernalia on the man.
Thursday police searched the 32-year-old man's home in Ayden where they seized twenty computers and a variety of other digital media devices.
