Police say they caught a man inside an ATM this morning, and have connected him to two other ATM break-ins.
Goldsboro police have charged Lorenzo Farrow with three counts of breaking and entering, three counts of safecracking and one count of possession of burglary tools.
Police say around 1:45 a.m. this morning the alarm for the State Employees' Credit Union ATM on Highway 111 South went off. They found the back door had been pried open and Farrow inside. Police say he had been trying to force open the cash safe inside the ATM when he was arrested.
Farrow is also accused of two other ATM break-ins since Friday. The first one, at the Bank Of America ATM on Cashwell Drive and the second at the State Employees' Credit Union ATM on Berkeley Boulevard.
In all three cases police say the burglar was not successful in getting to the cash.
The 35-year-old Farrow was jailed on a $25,200 secured bond.
