An Eastern Carolina man has been charged with stabbing two people over the weekend, one who died.
Antony Lewis of Goldsboro was charged with one count of murder and one count of attempted first degree murder by Goldsboro police today.
Police say on Saturday they found two people in an open field in the 400 block of Wilmington Avenue. Vanico Perkins died at Wayne Memorial Hospital, while the other victim, Brian Wynn, remains hospitalized.
Lewis, according to police, was developed as a suspect during their investigation. The 26-year-old man is being held without bond and has his first court appearance Thursday.
