Lawmen: Suspect Threatened Victim Then Torched Home

A man who authorities say threatened another person is now charged with torching the victims home.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says 32-year-old Floyd McAbee II is charged with first degree arson and communicating threats.

Investigators say on April 13th McAbee sent several messages to the victim threatening bodily harm and then early Saturday morning attempted to burn the residence of the victim. The fire was contained to a small area of the victims residence.

Bond for McAbee was set at $500,000 with more charges possible.
