Goldsboro police arrested a man early Saturday morning after they say he killed his brother.
Police were called out to 808 N Virginia Street in reference to a reported stabbing. At the scene officers found 35-year-old Charles Barnes Jr. dead inside the home.
After investigating officers arrested Barnes' brother, 31-year-old Alonza Barnes and charged him with an open count of murder.
Police say the brothers lived at the home together.
Alonza Barnes was placed in the Wayne County Jail without bond. His first court appearance is scheduled for Monday.
