Lawmen say they uncovered an inactive meth lab as local, state and federal authorities were trying to serve a warrant on a Goldsboro man. The discovery led to the arrest of 31-year-old Jonathan Wiggs of Ebenezer Church Rd. in Goldsboro.
Since his arrest Monday, Wiggs faces one count each of Manufacture Methamphetamine, Possession Methamphetamine, 2nd Level Trafficking Opium, Possession Methamphetamine Precursor and Possession Marijuana Up To ½ Ounce. His bond was set at $1.1 million.
The arrest came from the collaboration of the Wayne County Interagency Drug Task Force, Sheriffs Office Investigations, North Carolina SBI and the Federal ATF.
