Goldsboro Police say they arrested a teenager after responding to a report of a burglary in progress.
The call came in Monday night around 9:15 at 700 South Claiborne Street.
Police say they discovered the suspects attempted to break into the residence by shattering a rear window to the home causing $200.00 in damage.
Police arrested 16-year-old Jamal Mumford of Goldsboro and charged him with attempted second degree burglary and injury to real property. His is $7,500.00.
Additional arrests are expected in this case.
