Fire Investigation In Mount Olive

A suspicious fire in an outbuilding was reported early Wednesday near the heart of Mount Olive in Wayne County.

Dispatchers said the fire was reported on Highway 117 South near West Main St. around 12:40 a.m.

Fire crews extinguished the fire but could not determine what started it. Dispatchers told WITN that the emergency management director would be going to the scene to investigate.

No one was injured in the fire.

    Meth lab on Thunderswamp Rd. Same person who had busted lab before on same road. Why is he out on bond? Waiting till someone dies i guess.
