A father has been charged with killing his four month old son.
Wayne County deputies say Brendan Pemberton was charged today with the murder of Jaylin Pemberton.
Deputies say the baby boy was found unresponsive at the Pemberton's home on Rhodes Drive in Dudley back on May 31st. The baby died at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
An autopsy done in Chapel Hill showed the cause of death was a homicide and the 21-year-old father was arrested.
