Burglary Suspect Dies Fleeing From State Trooper

A suspected burglar is dead after deputies say he tried to make his getaway early Wednesday morning.

Wayne County deputies say Trooper Bennie Grady was heading home just after midnight when he spotted a suspicious vehicle at a neighbor's home on Rosewood Road. As the state trooper was getting out of his cruiser, they say Dustin Mitchell of Princeton ran out of the home, jumped in his car and took off.

Deputies say by the time the trooper caught up to Mitchell he found the man dead after his vehicle crashed into a tree. They say some stolen property was recovered after the crash.

This situation is very controversal. Yes, he was stealing..but I mean really, drugs make people not act like themselves..which is no excuse to steal, but just so you know - your tax paying dollars will support his son, so save your rude remarks and choke on them.

To K. Spare me the what ifs. I was raised correctly. I am a responsible tax paying citizen with a job, instead of a product of welfare society. The same will not happen to any of my family.

A scumbag robber got what he deserved and we don't need to waste money on putting him in jail. Sorry...no sympathy here, he made his choice to rob someone instead of getting a real job.
