Deputies Release Photo Of Missing Kidnap Victim

Wayne County lawmen continue to search for one of two men who were kidnapped Sunday night.

Geniro Jamis and Israil Aguirre were forced out of their vehicle at gunpoint by six men, put into a vehicle and driven off.

Aguirre was released early Monday morning, but the 48-year-old Jamis remains missing.

Deputies say Aguirre was able to clarify some details of the kidnapping. At first lawmen thought the gunmen flashed blue, yellow and red lights at the men's vehicle, making them pull over. Now Aguirre says only a white light was flashed at them. Also, the vehicle is now described as a possible black 1999 Ford extended cab pick-up truck with a camper shell.

Anyone with information on the kidnapping or the location of Jamis should contact the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 919-731-1481 or Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.

The Wayne County Sheriff's Office says one of two men kidnapped by six suspects, some armed, in Goldsboro has been released.

Lawmen say the two people kidnapped are 48-year-old Geniro Jamis and 24-year-old Israil Aguirre. They say Aguirre was released early this morning. Both victims are believed to live at D&W Circle in Goldsboro.

The report that two Hispanic men had been kidnapped came in about 10:30 p.m. Sunday.

The report stated "the victims were stopped by a white SUV, possibly an Expedition on Leonard Drive, off of New Hope Road. The victims stopped their vehicle after the suspect vehicle turned on blue yellow and red lights, making the victims think the suspect vehicle was a law enforcement officer."

The report states six men wearing normal clothes and face masks took the two victims out of their vehicle at gunpoint, put them in the SUV and took off.

Lawmen say the suspects are possible one white male and 5 hispanic males.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office at 919-731-1481 or Wayne County Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255.

I am so proud of my fellow Wayne Countians that have commented on this story. You have managed to make the entire population of Wayne County look like idiots. This is some of the stupidest crap I have ever heard. I think you should worry more about the education system than immigration, gun laws or welfare. It is obvious from these comments that common sense is lacking in our county. God help us.

So the moral of this story is don't pull over until the 2nd and 3rd cop cars show up.

Our state law says if we do not stop when a cop puts on his or her lights they can confiscate our vehicle!!! We are not allowed to go until we have a populated area nor a safe place to pull over. A Law that should NEVER have been passed! When in a high speed chase the police already had the right to take their vehicle so why did they have to put the rest of us in danger???

Why do you all blame Obama for everything going wrong, and give him credit for nothing he has done right.

Hey....these guys are using the same Robin Hood mentality as expressed by our President....this therefore was a legal act. Kidnapping for ransom is a Mexican Income Equalization Program endorsed by our President due to his total lack of commitment for protecting Americans from our Southern Illegal Neighbors. Who really wants four more years?

The president can send thousands of troops to other countries with guns but he cant do anything about gangs in America!! Could it be just another form of reducing the population?

You need to complain to the National Rifle Association because they are for guns in the wrong hands. Our President cannot be everywhere concerning guns in the wrong hands and do not blame President Obama for this act.

And you also believe that when the girl who saved herself and her baby by shooting the person who broke into her house the same day her husband was buried was wrong? you are saying she should have not been able to protect her and her child?? People who use guns to rob do not get guns legally so there is NO LAW that would ever stop them but would take away from the people who are legally trying to protect their families!!

To unknown, you totally missed my point!!! Guns is not the issue I was trying to make!! All the murder and mayhem in America and nothing is done about it!! You idiot.

You need to thank the NRA that this sort of thing is not rampant. The NRA stands for our legal right to own a firearm. The Obama administration put several thousand assault weapons into Mexican Drug cartel hands with operation fast and furious. Google it and when you realize the truth we will welcome you into the NRA.
