Unemployment rates fell in all but two of the state's counties in March.
Figures out today show a positive trend when compared to figures from a year ago, according to the North Carolina Department of Commerce.
The two counties which saw a jobless increase from February to March were Greene and Wilson, which both rose a tenth of a percent. Dare County lead the state with the biggest drop in unemployment, a 3.8% fall.
Carteret County saw a 1% jobless drop, while Pitt, Craven, Lenoir, Onslow, and Martin counties all experienced decreases of between .3 and .5%.
