Mount Olive Police Trying To ID Murder Victim

Three people have been charged with killing a man, but police don't yet know just who the victim is and they're asking for the public's help.

Mount Olive police have charged Demario Leach, Demontae Leach, and Michael Faison, all of Mount Olive, with murder. Police say the two Leach's are cousins.

Police say the unidentified man was found severely beaten early on the morning of February 22nd at Kelly and Center Streets. He later died.

Police believe the Latino man may go by the name of "Arturo". He is approximately 5'4" in height and weighs 108 lbs. The victim has a scar on the left side of his face, running from his left eyebrow down around his left eye approximately two inches. He has a thin black mustache and a goatee and has black hair, approximately three to four inches in length. The victim is known to travel on foot in the Center Street and Cleveland Drive areas of Mount Olive.

Anyone with information on who the murder victim is should call Crime Stoppers at 919-735-2255 or the Mount Olive Police Department at 919-658-5031 ext. 102 or 919-658-5031 ext. 104.

First of all he didn't get shot. They are other ways a man can die and a bullet wound wasn't it in this case. If they are guilty they will be punished by God if not by the judicial system.

Least maybe this will get them off, and keep them off the streets. Apparently, selling drugs is not illegal anymore. Murder is murder. A man is a man. Kill a man, you are a murderer. Surely, the three of them weren't being self defensive. We're gonna need jails as big as cities, cause our folks are losing it!

They asked for information if you know who this latino man is not all these ignorant comments. All of you should just keep that mess to yourself. For the record Obama had nothing to do with this incident.

Yea, they look like good family men--solid citizens, well loved, and loving sons and fathers. Probably just a misunderstanding--heck just cause a guy shows up dead, why should you be arrested. I bet it's more of those frame up's that the big bad police have on these wonderful young men. I'm sure they were just on their way to choir practice when the gun went off.
