A Goldsboro man is recovering after getting shot by a person who knocked on his door.
Goldsboro Police say someone shot Clifton Dickins at his home at 306 Mulberry St. in Goldsboro. Detectives say three men knocked on his door at 10:30 p.m. Thursday, asking if a particular person was there. When Dickins said no, they got into a scuffle, and one of the men shot Sickins in the thigh.
Police say Dickins was transported to Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro and is expected to be ok. Police say they do not have any suspects.
